As a member, when you call us or visit the website for assistance, your request will be evaluated to see whether a volunteer can help you or whether you need a professional service provider.
Volunteers, many of whom are fellow members, can provide basic services. For more complex tasks, we will refer you to local companies on our resource lists. All service providers on our Preferred or Recommended resource lists were recommended by fellow Santa Fe Neighbors' members and volunteers, and we will follow up all service requests to continually evaluate our members' satisfaction and keep our lists up to date.
Members are responsible for paying the providers' charges.
Members may receive discounts from service providers as we are able to negotiate them.
A list of Preferred Providers is available to members. Preferred Providers have not only been recommended by a fellow Santa Fe Neighbors' member for excellent performance, they are also screened for complaints and legal actions, and they have signed applications ensuring they are properly licensed, bonded if appropriate, and are following all the rules and regulations of the state of New Mexico.
A list of Recommended Providers is also available to members. As the name implies, all Recommended Providers have been recommended by a Santa Fe Neighbors member or volunteer, but they have not been screened or submitted the required paperwork to become Preferred Providers. They have, however, performed well for other SFN members.
If you are a service provider interested in becoming a part of our network, please fill out an application.
